Preface

An atlas is a collection of maps of diff erent areas of the earth such as states, countries
and continents. The maps in an atlas show physical features and political boundaries
of diff erent areas. Use of Atlas in schools is very important for developing learners’
geographical skills and improving their general sense of direction.
