            Kachoris and aloo curry is mostly eaten in breakfast in Uttar Pradesh.

            The Thar Desert in Rajasthan is dry, with limited water and vegetation. Hence, food is
            made using long-lasting ingredients like grains, pulses and dried vegetables.


            Dal baati churma (baked wheat balls with
            lentils and sweet crumbs) and gatte ki sabzi
            (gram flour dumplings in spicy gravy) are
            two famous and favourite dishes of people

            from Rajasthan.

            The coastal regions have a humid climate and are rich in coconut, rice and seafood.
            Food is often flavoured with coconut milk and spices.

            Appam with stew and fish curry with rice in Kerala, and Goan prawn curry and bebinca
            (a layered dessert) are very famous among people.

            Idli, dosa and sambar in Tamil Nadu, and chenna poda (cheese dessert) in Odisha are

            famous foods of those places.

            The island regions are surrounded by the sea, so seafood, coconut and tropical fruits
            form a big part of their diet.
