Qutb Minar


            Qutb Minar is located in Delhi (Northern Plains). It is a 73-metre
            tall minaret. It is made of red sandstone and marble. It was
            built in the 12th century. It is the tallest brick minaret in the
            world and is surrounded by other ancient structures like the

                                         Golden Temple

                                         Golden Temple is located in Amritsar (Punjab, Indo-Gangetic

                                         Plains). It is the holiest shrine of the Sikhs. It is covered with
                                         a golden dome and the temple is surrounded by the sacred
                                         Amrit Sarovar. It stands as a symbol of peace, equality and

            Jaisalmer Fort

            Jaisalmer Fort is located in Rajasthan (Thar Desert). It is also

            called the Golden Fort. Because it glows yellow in the sunlight
            due to its sandstone walls.  There are palaces, temples and
            houses that show the grandeur of desert life inside the fort.

                                         Pushkar

                                         Pushkar is located in Rajasthan. It is a desert town famous for
                                         its annual camel fair called Pushkar Camel Fair.  Thousands

                                         of camels are decorated and traded in this fair. The fair also
                                         showcases music, dance and handicraft stalls that attract

                                         tourists from around the world.



            Konark Sun Temple

            Konark Sun Temple is located in Odisha (Eastern Coastal Plains).
            This temple is shaped like a giant stone chariot with 24 wheels

            pulled by stone horses. It is dedicated to the Sun God. It is a
            masterpiece of Odisha’s temple architecture and a UNESCO
