Places in a Neighbourhood

A neighbourhood is an area within a large community where people live, work and
interact with each other. The people who live around us in a neighbourhood are our
neighbours. There are many places that we see around in our neighbourhood. Let’s

learn about them.

A park is a place in a neighbourhood that
offers a space for recreation and relaxation
for children and the elders. It also offers a
space for community interaction. It provides a

playground for children, place for doing several
physical activities for people and picnic areas
for families. The people who maintain parks
include gardeners and security staff who keep
the space clean, safe and welcoming.
