Landmark

A landmark is a well-known reference point or place that can be seen clearly from a

distance. It helps us identify where we are and also guides us to find the place we want
to reach. Examples of landmarks can be a cinema hall, school, market, temple, or any
other large and easily recognisable building within a locality or neighbourhood.

Sketch

A sketch is a simple drawing of a place that gives us a basic idea about its location. It is
not drawn to scale and does not show the exact distances between the places drawn
on it.
