y Less paper waste goes into dustbins and landfills when we recycle paper.

y Recycling uses much less energy and water compared to making new paper from
                   wood.

y Recycling of paper saves tress and trees can reduce air and water pollution caused
                   by paper industries.

y Recycling helps in the responsible use of resources and promotes a cleaner, greener

________ waste such as plastics, glass, metals and e-waste do not decompose easily and should

and tissues go into the yellow dustbin. An important principle of waste management is the
5 R’s – Refuse, ________, Reuse, ________ and Recycle. Each step reduces waste and saves
resources. Recycling of ________ is very important as it saves trees, reduces pollution, and gives
              old paper a new life.
