Journey on a Nature’s Trail
This unit takes learners on a journey to explore the world of nature closely. It helps them learn
about plants, animals and insects that make the planet rich and beautiful. Every plant, animal
and insect plays an important role in keeping the balance of life on Earth. By learning about their
parts, types, habits and uses, they also begin to value the need to protect them. This unit also
shows how plants provide us with food, medicine and clean air, how animals help in pollination,
seed dispersal and maintaining the food chain, and how even small insects have a big role in the
ecosystem.
