A food chain is the order in which energy passes from one living thing to another. It

always begins with plants, because plants make their own food using sunlight, air and
water.

A food web is formed when many food chains are linked together. In nature, one animal
can eat different kinds of food. For example, a sparrow eats seeds but also eats insects.
This creates many connections which makes a web-like pattern.

Let’s understand how a food web will look like.
